A Beautiful Work

“O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does?” says the LORD. “Look carefully, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.”

In my opinion, there is something very special about Habakkuk 2:2-3. Tuesday night Soultatos touched on that very passage of scripture and I’m SO glad he did! It served as a “gentle nudge” from God himself directly to me! WOW! ME!!?

God’s especially fond of each of us, so why not believe and receive that truth? Justin was quite passionate on the walk and talk (I felt he was Steven Furtick-esque). And if you don’t know who Steven Furtick is, google him. I can tell you firsthand, he’s a yeller!! But I digress…

Anyway, if we’ll get out of God’s way and allow Him to work, He most certainly will (Philippians 1:6). The blog post titled “Write It Down” from February 28, 2018 also referenced the importance of shifting our perspectives to this mentality.

It is definitely true that any change related to repetition produces results; good or bad. That said, I’m personally ‘leaning in’ towards the guy who lifted His victorious right hand (isaiah 41:10) in order to allow The Children Of Israel go cross over The Red Sea. Now. That. Was. AWESOME. But there are SO many other examples of His display of power that this blog post will not contain a fraction of them! However, do yourself a ‘FAVOR’ and read some of them in the bible /playbook.

The exercise we performed on the walk and talk was also very interesting. I especially thought the activity (in the form of the sun) was particularly significant. That’s what I frequently call a #GodWink. Whenever God places His ‘stamp of approval’ on something, He always send me a confirmation of his handiwork with what I affectionately termed #GodWinks. So get still (Psalms 46:10) and notice his hand in several things.
